About CDJA Services:

CDJA Services is a fairly new company.  We are registered for operation in Ontario and got our business license on September 29, 1998 although we did occasional work for other companies before this time.

We see ourselves as a business-like and professional, yet fun and entertaining company.  We look forward to entertaining you and your guests with our entertainment services in a relaxed environment, while maintaining professionalism and quality.

Our primary work, until now, has been contracting to other companies who require our services.  However, we are trying to make it on our own now and expect that the next few years will show us through some big changes.

In relation to our disc jockey services, we hope to be fully computerized within five years.  What this will mean for both you and us, is less to carry, quicker assembly of our sound system, and less techincal difficulties such as skipping CDs.  In otherwords, more efficiency and quality service.

Currently, we can be setup in about 10 minutes from the time we arrive.  Our take-down time is equally as quick which sometimes means, depending on the hall, that we can play later should the crowd desire because it doesn't take so long to 'move out' after the show.

Our company is continually growing and believe in the philosophy of word-of-mouth advertising.  With upgraded equipment and constant purchasing of new music, we hope to keep up to date with technology to provide our clients with the best.  Unfortuneatly, with so many genres of music, we can't promise to have everything, but we try. :)

We are owned by Craig Ainsworth of Kitchener.  His experience includes working as assistant A/V technician for three years in high school and contracting to a local multimedia firm for two years.
Additionally, two years were volunteered with Rogers Community 20 where experience was gained in camera operation, directing, lighting and sound operation.  Also, in co-operation with Rogers Community 20, Craig hosted a social based program concentrating on the education cuts and how it would affect our local educational system.
Since then, Craig has contracted to Howie Johannes and Flashpoint DJ services doing disc jockeying for their companies.  Craig's computer expertise comes from years of learning at the keyboard.  While most of his work is self-taught, I'm sure you'll be pleased with his work.

A fairly new addition to the technical side of CDJA Services staff, is resident of Waterloo, Justin Wheeler.  Also learning at the hand of the work, Justin has learned many programming languages and programs and is well versed in computers.
His experience includes working for two major computer companies in the Kitchener-Waterloo area and numerous network and programming jobs.  The technician in the company, Justin will not stop until you are pleased with his work.
Justin has most recently been incorporated into the DJ circuit.  His vast expertise in music has been a great aid in keeping up to date with the recent influx of new music in all genres.  He has been a big part of the growth of CDJA Services in both the technical and physical aspects and is a key factor in the future of the company.

Part-time employee and brother of Craig, Camm Henrich can be seen on the circuit assisting on numerous video and disc jockey tasks.  Taught on the job, Camm is a welcome addition to the team in the last year.  It is hoped that within the next year, Camm will be on the disc jockey circuit on his own.

Our employee roaster* also includes a number of people who we contract in for special video jobs or for additional disc jockeys.  We hope to continue hiring in the upcoming years.

* We did that one on purpose because of an inside joke.  Please bare with us, sometimes we're a bit cookie [cooky] :)
